Who doesn’t love a good COCKtail or a decadent sweet treat? COCKtails and Other Culinary Delights is a special feature full of fabulously pervy recipes and how-tos for COCKtails, sweet treats, and other food-related pleasures. We’ll have all sorts of smuttastic ideas for a girl’s night out on the town or a “quiet” evening at home.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. This special Vday edition of COCKtails is all about fun and saucy drinks to accompany any dinner or evening with that someone special. Champagne and wine are both very common and are the perfect accompaniment to most any dish you might choose.

But this is Valentine’s Day! The day for hot, sexy, lovin’, so why not have a little naughty fun,
Perv Pack style?

Start off the night with a.....

Blue Negligee
One part each Green Chartreuse, Parfait Amour, Ouzo, and ice. Stir and stain into a standard cocktail glass and serve.

A little foreplay can get nice and sweet with a little.....

Slippery Nipple
2 shots Sambuca (anise flavored, colorless Italian liqueur)
½ shot Bailey’s Irish Cream
1 drop grenadine
Pour the Sambuca into a double shot glass. Gently add the Baileys so it floats on top. Add a drop of grenadine in the center to give the appearance of a nipple!

Pink Pussy
Equal parts vodka and pink lemonade served in a martini glass with a lot of crushed ice
Variations: Malibu, pineapple juice, or pink grapefruit juice

Slow Comfortable (or Frantic)
Screw up against the Wall
Equal parts sloe gin, vodka, Southern Comfort, Galliano in a tall glass filled with ice. Top with orange juice and stir slightly.
OR
One part each Southern Comfort and Vodka, half part each Galliano and (Sloe) Gin, four parts orange juice, ice. Build in a tall glass.

Or a fun bit of raw, gritty......

Sex on the Beach
1½ shots vodka
½ shot peach schnapps
¼ shot Chambord black raspberry liqueur
2 shots pineapple juice
2 shots cranberry juice
Shake all the ingredients together in an ice-filled shaker. Strain onto ice in a highball glass.

Regardless of where and how, make sure you end the night wet and screaming.

Wet Spot
One part each Midori, Apple Juice, cream and passionfruit pulp, half part Frangelio, ice. Shake and strain all but pulp. Serve in a standard cocktail glass with pulp floated on top.

Screaming Orgasm
Equal parts vodka, amaretto, coffee liqueur, Baileys in an ice-filled shaker, strained and served in a highball glass and topped with a bit of cream.

The evening wouldn’t be complete without a.....
Cocksucking Cowboy
Two parts butterscotch Schnapps, one part Baileys. Layer in a shot glass.

or a....
Menage a Trois
Half part each Monin Triple Lime liqueur,
Cointreau,
Champagne.
Chill and strain liqueurs into a flute glass, top with Champagne.

The Pervs have teamed up with the ladies of TwiFicPics to create a special Pervy Picspiration challenge for all the talented graphic artists out there. We are asking for you to use one or all of the images from the lasts group of Pervy Picspirations to make a banner for an as yet unwritten fan fic. That’s right, make the banner for a fic that doesn’t exist.

Below you will find all the Pervy Picspiration pictures for the last four weeks. Use a few and or all of these images to make a banner (you can use other images too, but you must use at least two of these picspiration images in the banner for it to qualify for the challenge).

Email your banner to contest@twificpics.com by Thursday, February 17th at 4pm PST. The winning banner will be posted on The Perv Pack’s Smut Shack, next Saturday. Details of the Pervy Picspiration: Banner Edition

How does it work?
TwiFicPics hosts a weekly challenge for graphic artists to test and expand their skills. Every fourth challenge, The Perv Pack and TwiFicPics are teaming up to bring a special challenge – Pervy Picspiration: Banner Edition.

The Challenge:
Artists will have six days to pick from four weeks of Pervy Picspiration pictures on PPSS to create a banner for the graphics challenge. Once artists are finished with the banner, they will email it to contest@twificpics.com. From there, the contest moderators will post it on TwiFicPics.com anonymously.

Once the time period for submissions closes, a public vote will be posted and the winning banner will be featured on The Perv Pack’s Smut Shack’s blog. What’s more, the artist’s can add their banners to a special forum so that authors can come in, check them out, and adopt them for their story if they wish.

Rules:
Artists can only create one banner entry for the contest.

Challenge entries must be anonymous.

All posting will be handled by the contest moderators. Please email your entry to contest@twificpics.com, along with the penname you wish to display next to your banner when the artists are revealed.

This is supposed to be fun! So have some.

Why should I even do this?
To have fun, and get a chance to improve your skills and practice new ones, we’d also like to give you some incentive for participation. If your banner wins, it will be featured on PPSS where it may catch the eye of a talented author who will write a fic for it. Also, every entrant will receive one point for entering. The first place banner winner will get five points, four for second place, and three for third. At the end of twelve weeks of TwiFicPics challenges, the top scorer will receive a prize.

What if my banner doesn't win?
Don’t give up. There’s always next time. We will be running this challenge at least once a month.

A weekly taste of geeky goodness from our resident GeekPerv©, Trin.

There's no secret that at least two of the Perv Pack are big time Comic Book nerds. 2011 is looking like it is going to be the year of Comic Book Movies. Trin decided to invite Jeanne to join her in chatting and celebrating some of the yummy geeky goodness that will be gracing the silver screens in the coming year. Join them and take a look at some new eye candy that is sure to make your pulse race.

The Green Hornet

Jeanne: While I'm a huge Seth Rogan fangirl, the draw for me in this movie is the Jay Chou. This Taiwanese singer, actor, and musician is already a star in Asia, but I think it won't be long before his sexiness catches the eye of Western audiences. I know that he's making me drool in the trailer, with his dry humor and kickass action scenes. I'm an old school fan of The Green Hornet, and remember crushing hard on Bruce Lee's Kato. As I look at Jay's version of this beloved character I am confident that I have a new crush on the horizon.

Trin: I am just in HEAVEN over this movie. I remember when the news broke that Seth Rogan had been cast and I was practically giddy! I make no bones about it that I love me some bespectacled, bearded, fluffy guys. Then when I saw the first shots of Kato I was just....WOW! Like Jeanne, I am a huge fan of The Green Hornet so I have very high hopes for this movie. Not to mention it is going to be VERY nice to watch those two on the screen.

THOR

Jeanne: Oh Holy Mjöllnir! I have been squirming in my seat ever since I heard they were making this movie, but after I got the see the footage that they showed at the 2010 San Diego Comic Convention...*Jeanne explodes in fannish glee* Not only does the movie look great, but the cast is pretty fucking smoking. Natalie Portman (who rocked it hard in Black Swan I might add), Kat Dennings (who is my Bella Swan, jsyk) and the man himself Chris Hemsworth. You might remember from a little movie called STAR TREK. He played Kirk's fearless (and gorgeous) father in what has to be the most heartfail moment in the entire freakin' movie. I am sold on Chris's acting ability, and after seeing him (and his muscles) in the trailer I see him as the Norse god. UNF!

Trin: I'm not embarrassed to say that I sometimes

troll comic sites to see some of the chatter about upcoming movies. I remember when there was some speculation about Natalie Portman being cast for this movie and I told myself not to get my hopes up. To have both her and Kat Dennings (both of them are Bella Swan in my head as well) together in this movie my girl crushes just soared. I had to IMDB Chris Hemsworth because I couldn't place him right away but as soon as I knew He'd been George Kirk I wasn't concerned one bit about his ability to pull it off. Like Jeanne said this trailer alone has me counting down the days until the release.

Green lantern

Trin: Ryan Reynolds and I go WAY back to Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place days and I love his sarcastic humor and really think he has a wide range as an actor. I'm going to just skip over the casting of Blake Lively and move happily on to Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong. FUCK YES! I had the pleasure of seeing the Green Lantern panel as I waited for Harry Potter at Comic Con 2010 and after watching Ryan recite the Green Lantern oath and his cute interaction with the little boy (see video below) I couldn't wait for the movie. From the looks of the trailer it seems Ryan will be showing off a little of his comedic ability, too.

I don't LOVE the mask...but I can make do.

Jeanne: Honestly, I'll be in the theater to see this for one reason alone...Ryan Reynold's abs. Yes, I'm shallow. This isn't the Hall Jordan of the comic book, but I'm sure that it will do a lot for the franchise. So, yeah. I wonder if I'll get thrown out of the theater for trying to hump the screen. I guess we'll see. ;)

Captain America

Trin: Who doesn't love a man in uniform? I wasn't a HUGE fan of Chris Evans, because I never really liked the Fantastic Four franchise but he turned that around for me with Scott Pilgram VS. the World. I think what I might be the MOST excited about with this movie is that it is set in the 1940's which is one of my most favorite eras. There still hasn't been a lot released about this movie, but some comic purists seem to feel like they are taking way too many liberties with the story. I am really pleased with the shots they have shared so far, but only time will tell.

Here's some muscles if you like that thing.

Jeanne: I'll be honest, when I heard that Chris Evans had been cast as Captain America I threw up in my mouth a little. I say this, because I grew up reading about an older, more seasoned Captain who was a man from a different era out of place in the modern world. Once I heard it was going to be set in the 40s I did a complete 180. Chris has a great combination of humor, hope and wholesome (All American) good looks to pull this off. Captain is supposed to be the epitome of the American Hero. He is how America saw itself with it was still young an innocent. I'm a hardcore fangirl, and they have a lot to live up to, but I'm hopeful that they will pull it off. *crosses fingers*

We here in the Shack love reading smut and looking at pretty porny things, but we also love you. Yes, each and every one of you -- reader, writer, blog follower, and Twitter pal. That’s why we feel it’s important to take pause every once in a while and get serious. Don’t worry, though, we have some fun in store!

December 1st is World AIDS Day. This year marks the 22nd time that World AIDS Day has been observed. World AIDS Day was first conceived by the WHO to raise awareness and inspire activism. It was coordinated by UNAIDS until the campaign was so big that the World AIDS Campaign became an independent organization in 2004. The theme for World AIDS Day 2010 is 'Universal Access and Human Rights'.

Many younger people in the fandom probably don’t remember a time before the use of antiretroviral medication became the standard of care for people living with HIV. Before the advent of ART (antiretroviral therapy), HIV was an immediate death sentence for many people. These medications have increased the lifespan of someone with HIV by thirteen years (The Lancet, 2008). The increase in life expectancy is dependent upon early treatment and compliance with the drug protocol.

When they were first invented, these drugs were only available in high income countries because the annual cost was so high. Through generic manufacturing and pressure on the drug companies to lower their prices, these drugs are now available for about 40 cents (US$) a day. Organizations like The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria and PEPFAR (President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief distribute ART to millions of people around the world.

Despite these advances, HIV/AIDS is still a worldwide health crisis. In 2009 an estimated 1.8 million people died of AIDS, 2.6 million people were newly diagnosed, and there were 33.3 million people living with HIV/AIDS, worldwide (figures obtained here). While the great majority of infected people live in sub-Saharan Africa, the virus continues to infect millions of people each year—many of whom have not been tested and don't know that they carry the virus. While in the US the largest means of transmission of the virus is via male to male sexual contact, worldwide women are disproportionately affected. In Eastern Europe and Central Asia the epidemic is spreading among intravenous drug users and their sexual partners. Children are affected by the virus both as orphans and as carriers of the virus.

Protect yourself:

* Use male or female condoms correctly each time you have sex. Use a condom or a dental dam each time you have oral sex.

* Practice only non-penetrative sex.

* Be in a monogamous relationship with an uninfected, faithful partner with no other risk behavior.

* Abstain from sex.
